[Charlottetown, PE, June 7, 2023] SpryPoint, a leading provider of world-class software solutions for electric, water, gas, and telecom utilities in North America, today announced that Joe Gomes has joined its board of directors. Mr. Gomes currently serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of PowerPlan, the market leader in accounting, tax, and capital planning software for North American energy companies.

Mr. Gomes previously held several executive leadership positions, including President of I.P.A., a healthcare technology company, as well as Senior Vice President, Operations at MedAssets, a financial software provider serving over 2,600 U.S. hospitals. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Auburn University and a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School.
