Athens-Clarke County Selects SpryPoint to Launch Unified Utility Customer Information System and Portal

Athens-Clarke County, GA: Athens-Clarke County (ACCGov) is partnering with SpryPoint to implement a modern, unified Customer Information System (CIS) and engagement portal that will streamline access to utility billing and service information for over 53,000 water, sewer, sanitation, and stormwater accounts.

The new platform will improve service delivery by consolidating multiple systems into one intuitive interface, automating routine business processes, enhancing mobile accessibility, and expanding data reporting and analytics capabilities. The solution also addresses the unique needs of the county’s seasonal student population, particularly during the University of Georgia’s move-in and move-out periods.

“Providing efficient and responsive utility services is a top priority for our county,” said Arkedia Raines, Water Business Administrator. “SpryPoint’s modern tools and expertise will help us better meet customer expectations, speed up service, and optimize internal operations.”

After an extensive proposal and review process, ACCGov will deploy and rely on SpryPoint solutions, including:

  • SpryCIS customer information system will manage ACCGov’s customer, financial, billing, and operational meter-to-cash processes.
  • SpryEngage customer engagement portal will enable better communications with customers, providing information and alerts about their accounts and services.
  • SpryIDM interval data management gathered will inform and alert customers, and unify customer service and operations..
  • SpryMobile Mobile Field Service will connect the Water Business Office with field operations to manage tasks, deploy resources, and collaborate efficiently to provide superior customer service.

“ACCGov’s vision for smarter utility service aligns perfectly with our mission,” said Kyle Strang, SpryPoint CEO and Co-Founder. “We’re proud to support their ongoing transformation.”
